PHILOSOPHY

Guiding Principle

Connecting regions, connecting expertise,
building the future.

Based on mutual understanding and cooperation between Japan and Indonesia, we contribute to the formation of sustainable local communities through disaster prevention and recovery, social infrastructure development, regional development, and human resource development.

Rather than pursuing short-term results or the interests of any particular organization, our guiding principle is to look to the future of local communities and the people who live in them, and to pass on knowledge, expertise, and trust to the next generation.

MESSAGE

Message from the Representative Director

Connecting regions, connecting expertise,
building the future.

The challenges facing societies and regions differ from country to country and region to region, yet many are shared: disaster prevention and recovery, the development of social infrastructure, human resource development, and the growth of local economies.

Through my work in the construction industry in Japan, particularly in disaster recovery and social infrastructure development, I have come to appreciate the importance of the technologies that support local communities and of the people who carry them.

Through my involvement with Indonesia, I have also come to see great potential in bringing together the technologies, experience, culture, and human resources that each of our countries possesses.

However, one-way assistance or technology transfer alone is not enough to achieve sustainable international cooperation and regional development. I believe it is essential to respect each other's positions and cultures, to understand local challenges correctly, and to think and act together.

Our organization aims to serve as a bridge connecting government agencies, universities, research institutions, private companies, and local communities in Japan and Indonesia, and to build practical and sustained cooperative relationships in fields such as disaster prevention and recovery, social infrastructure development, regional development, and human resource development.

What we value is not merely to hold up ideals, but to build up the actions needed to realize them. Keeping both social significance and feasibility in view, we will face each challenge with sincerity.

Through activities that are meaningful to both Japan and Indonesia, we will contribute to the formation of sustainable local communities that connect to the next generation.

We sincerely ask for your understanding and support.
